On Friday, we ordered room service for breakfast, which is my favorite thing. I love breakfast but I hate to cook it. So, this was a wonderful treat. We were totally lazy and hung out in the room until around 1:00 PM, enjoying our view and watching a Pay Movie. We watched Mama Mia and just loved it. I'm a huge Abba fan and a huge Meryl Streep fan, so I was in heaven watching and trying to sing along.
We went to the Wynn's Buffet for lunch and it was honestly the most incredible buffet I've ever been to. I was so impressed that I was taking pictures left and right until an employee told me to stop because it did something to the heat lamps. Whatever! I still was able to get plenty of pictures so that you'll get the idea. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get pictures of the dessert area, which was a whole room in itself.
Completely stuffed to the gills, we finally made it to the casino for a bit more gambling. Mr. Snooty only stayed for a while, as he wanted to watch something on TV. Not me! I was ready to win some more money! So, I returned to my favorite table but never could locate my favorite dealer, Monty. I found Danielle, but she was on a Casino War table, which is a joke. Casino War reminds me of the place Chevy Chase's character went with his brother-in-law, in National Lampoon's Vegas Vacation. Didn't we all play War enough as kids, in order to learn better?
I really wanted to play poker, but the poker room was packed and quite intimidating, with mostly Rounders type guys playing. I was sure I'd get taken there, so I went back to the Blackjack tables. Where I began to steadily lose much of what I'd won the day before. Thankfully, it was time to go get ready for dinner, so I willingly left the casino.
We had dinner reservations that night at SW (Steve Wynn) Steakhouse and it was absolutely wonderful. We both had the house salad, which was commendable. Mr. S had the Sea Scallops and I had the filet mignon, both with Parmesan Creamed Spinach, which were all absolutely fantastic. Then, they sent out some special chocolates on a plate that had Happy Anniversary written on it. Another day of celebration, since I was milking it for all it was worth. On the way back to the room, we stopped and got cheesecake from the dessert/coffee place by the casino.
So, I asked Mr. Snooty to take a quick picture of me before he went back to the room to watch a movie and go to bed. Bless his heart. He's never been very good at picture taking, but at least he didn't cut off my entire head. Did I mention my feet and ankles remained VERY SWOLLEN for the entire trip? Yes, they did. I could only get my cowboy boots on, so they actually went with everything I took that wasn't really dressy, so it turned out okay. I slept every night with like 5 pillows under my feet and they still didn't go down until we came home. Is this what I have to look forward to for every trip now? Ugh!
I gave Mr. Snooty a good night kiss and went back to the casino, where I once again continued on my losing streak. However, I met lots of fun and interesting people. God only knows who I gave my business cards to. Yes, I was drinking and yes, it was totally fun even though I was mostly losing. By Golly, if I'm going to lose my money, I damn well want to have fun! Also, at night the casino bumps up the limits on ALL of their gaming tables, which was killing me financially. I had not yet lost the entire $900.00, but I was getting dangerously close.
When I felt as if I'd lost enough for one night, I carefully maneuvered my way back to the room and once again fell into a deep sleep. Unfortunately, I didn't dream of multiple hands of 21. I dreamed of cheesecake.

Of course room service is your favorite, it's mine too! Looks like fun and you look hot in your outfit even if your feet were swollen, you can't tell.
I had to join the blogger protection program, but all is well now. Come say HI I have missed you.

WTF with swollen feet? I hate it when that happens - but boots are a great fix and cover for them! You call that not dressed up? You look fabulous! Too bad Mr. Snooty is an early to bed fuddy duddy - glad it didn't keep you down though!
I'm seriously thinking a girlfriend trip to Vegas is in our future. Seriously. We would have to line up a bail bondsman and leave a deposit on hold. Bwahahah.
happy late birthday and anniversary! i'm laughing about your camera hurting the heat lamps. really a camera damaging heat lamps who has heard of such a thing!
OMG - I can't believe Mr Snooty would head back to the room rather than escorting that hot chick around!!
More! More!
I am laughing so hard at your hubby's picture taking, that is just the best...ever!
You look great in that outfit! Go win some more money, chica!
