Can I Just Say Whew?

After driving the receptionist at the doctor's office crazy all morning, they were finally able to give me the information I was calling to bug them about. I'm. Clean. As in Good. To. Go. WheW!

There is nothing like a reprieve from death to perk someone up a bit. Now that I'm done with that, I still need to go have a mammagram and a Pap smear, then I'll really be good to go. For at least a few years.

We had the most wonderful downpour of rain last night. It started around 10:00 PM, so I raced around the house grabbing plants to take them outside for a thorough watering. Of course, if I had a greenhouse I wouldn't have to bring them all inside for the winter, but I don't. Needless to say, they tend to get neglected when in the house during cold months. As a matter of fact, some of the plants might not make it, but the rain certainly helped the ones it could.

I am so ready for Spring. I haven't even gone skiing yet this year, but it doesn't look like I'm going to get to go. There isn't enough snow in Ruidoso, New Mexico this year. Since I go alone, I don't want to drive as far as Taos. I didn't mind the drive back when the kids went with me, but I find that I just don't like to go that far when I'm alone. Ski Apache has been able to make snow, but only about 55% of the mountain is even open, which means it's mostly beginner trails open. To me, that just isn't worth the money or effort. So, like I said, I'm ready for Spring.

What a relief, CONGRATS!

Our snow is melted due to a recent warm-up, but I'm sure there will be more. You could come ski the mountains of Ohio. LOL

I am so happy this prayer is now a blessing! Woo hoo!

I am not talking about snow.

I get that. I had something recently that was a BIG DEAL then it turns out instead I had something else, which wasn't ...well, not compared to the first thing. Confused yet? Snatched back from the brink of death always makes me want to go out and buy shoes. ~Mary

See, I was not even worried. Well, I was worried because it was you snooty! But I was confident all was well!

My dad just got done skiing at Taos and had a great time. I don't ski, so I'm ready for this winter crap to be over! I want to bust out my bike or go running!

I knew it all along. Just see my prediction that I made BEFORE you even got it done, when you were stressing out about it! ;o)

The beginner slopes would be all I would even be good for, it's been 20 years since I've been skiing. One of these days.... (sigh)

Have just popped over from your 'food' blog.
Silly me hadn't noticed until now you had another blog going.
Glad to hear all the optimism in your postings here. I pray for so many in the blogsphere world, and I am happy to add you.
Get all the tests done and out of the way. Spring is knocking ready to arrive.
Whew!
Love Granny
