A Dose Of Willie Nelson Is Always Good For The Soul....

Willie Nelson, at 82 years old, can still get up on stage and wow the crowd for 2 solid hours with his guitar and songs. We are of the philosophy that we should always go see Willie in concert because we never know if we'll get to see him again. I mean, he's 82 years old!

So, when we got wind of his coming to town again, we scrambled to get the VIP tickets. We felt extremely lucky to get 6th row seats. This time the venue was an indoor arena, so he didn't get rained out like he did last year. So, we grabbed our best friends and made the show on Sunday night, as Willie played to a standing-room-only crowd.

Willie started out with "Whiskey River" and continued on (with no clothing changes, I might add) with "Georgia On My Mind", "How Time Slips Away", "Crazy", and all the old favorites we all wanted to hear.

It's difficult to believe that an 82 year old man can still go "On The Road Again" and keep the pace that he does. He's amazing and so was his concert!

And Willie, as long as you keep playing, we'll keep coming to see you.....

Willie turned 78 (not 82) on April 30th and celebrated with fans and friends at a concert in Austin. Thanks for the pictures.

Actually, you are right! I found that out after I made this post. But hey - he's still pushing 80. What difference does a couple of years make, right?

I forgot to say how gorgeous you look in the picture and Mr. Snoots looks pretty cute too. It's a great photo!

Tammy: He didn't have the boys with him this year, which really disappointed me. However, his little sister played a wicked piano & his cousin played the harp (harmonica). And hey - doesn't Mr. Snoots look great in his sweatshirt, LOL?
