Tears & Prayers For The East Coast...

Every single time Mother Nature decides to remind us of how meaningless we are, there are always, of course, deaths to follow. Why is it that so many refuse to heed the warnings that Mother Nature is going manic? Again.

Every time I see images on the news and the internet, I can't help but cry. It's gut wrenching to witness the devastation created by Sandy.

Just like Katrina.

Just like Ike.

Just like Irene.

And all the rest.

Since the beginning of time, weather has wreaked its wrath upon us and it doesn't look to be changing anytime soon. Yes, Mother Nature can be a real bitch. Just like Ecoli, tornadoes, flu, bird flu, flooding rains, earthquakes, tsunamis, droughts, and countless other ways that nature can wreak havoc on our lives.

It's called Life & Death. It takes only prisoners in death. Otherwise, there are only casualties and survivors. It sucks but it is the reality we live with in this world. I think we should be thankful we don't live on Mars, where the weather is far worse than it is here on this crazy planet.

Hell really is on Earth. I believe that.

Constant prayers going out to entire area of devastation.... Plus as many of my dollars as I can spare. Be safe. Be strong. Trust your survival skills. Hang on to your sanity.

Has anyone else been thinking of how much this whole super-storm is reminiscent of the movie The Day After Tomorrow?

It's terrible! And now that the snow has added more heartache to the devastation... :(
