As Americans, we have always been afforded so many opportunities since our ancestors sailed across the ocean to freedom. On the whole, we are a very spoiled lot of folks, which has increased with each generation. Perhaps now is the appropriate time for us to reflect on the things that are truly important. Faith. Family. Friendship. Good health. A good job. A roof over our heads. Life is so precarious and should never be taken for granted. Let's celebrate all that and forget about the things that are silly or frivolous, for the moment.
