So as to not complicate my life any further I've locked down on two and only two, New Year's Resolutions. I'm fairly certain these two resolutions are two that I can keep.
#1) I am going to try to cuss less. Yes, it's true. I've been referred to as a *potty mouth* more times than I care to confess, so I thought this should be the year I clean up my act. I have no doubts that Lenny Bruce is now twirling in his grave upon hearing about my quest to quell the cussing. Sorry Lenny, I've always been a fan. However, the mainstream world still doesn't quite seem ready to make cusswords part of the mainstream. However, in honor of Lenny I will from time to time post a funny cartoon or two. Meter which claims my blog has a high (44%) cuss level, which I thought was interesting, since I haven't cussed (much) for the entire month of December. I've also gained more new followers during December, so that does tell me something.

I've begun walking every day even though today was the first day. Playing golf two or three times a week doesn't seem to be cutting it any more. I'm also dedicated to spending one half hour every day playing games online that exercise your mind. It's also possible that this could cut into some time spent blogging, but I'll have to learn to manage my time better. Some might think this is just another addiction, but it's not. I can rationalize with the best of them.
Next, I found a blog rating meter that is apparently based on how many times the words dead, death, shoot and torture are used. It was mildly amusing, at best. They gave me an *R* Rating. It's interesting (or not) how I don't even recall using those words.

I'm also going to end my cooking blog, as it has been too time consuming to keep up with both blogs and still be able to comment on all the other blogs I enjoy frequenting. Apparently, there are others of that same belief. Although it isn't actually an official resolution, it will soon be a done deal.
I'll still be posting a recipe on this blog from time to time, so stay tuned for more. Good recipes come in quite handy when new ideas for what to blog about, don't.
