OMG! I just found this picture of Adrienne and just had to put it up. Is she not absolutely stunning? Woo Hoo! You go girl!Snooty Daughter's roommate has been auditioning to become a reality Karaoke show hostess (think Vanna White on a Karaoke show) in Los Angeles. She also needs our help and you can vote for her online. I've known this delightful young lady since she was one year old. The funny thing is that when our kids were little bitty, we briefly lived in an apartment while looking for the house we've now been in for 24 years. While we lived there, Adrienne & her parents lived there too. Apparently, we both had Fischer-Price baby monitors and we kept *picking up* their baby (Adrienne) crying. I'd race upstairs when I heard the baby crying, only to discover that she was fast asleep. After a while, I finally figured out that I wasn't hearing our baby, but theirs.
Eventually, Adrienne's Mom and I became friends and the funny thing was that they bought a house three blocks away from us and they enrolled Adrienne in the same private school my kids were in. We had no idea what the other was doing so it was just kind of magical. They have remained friends all these years even though Adrienne went to the University of Georgia.
Anyway..... Adrienne needs our help, my friends! This gorgeous young lady has been slaving away in a Rodeo Drive boutique (sweat shop) as a sales girl and she is just too pretty & talented to waste away in such a manner. She needs to be a reality Karaoke show hostess!!!! YOU CAN VOTE ONCE A DAY, EVERY DAY UNTIL THEY DECIDE.

On another note... My daughter's friends from high school & college, that have a hot Austin band, are going to have one of their best songs featured on an episode of 'Greek' in the new 2009 season. You can watch a video with the song HERE. The premiere is on August 31st and I'm so
proud of these guys I could just burst! Their music is amazing and they both graduated from the University of Texas with multiple degrees but decided to pursue their music instead of taking the office cubicle jobs. One of the guys, Brian, was Prom King when SD was Prom Queen and he is the most amazing kid ever! He speaks three languages, plays piano, guitar, violin, and electric violin that would blow your mind. The other friend, David, is also amazing and was SD's best friend all the way through high school. He plays the electric cello as well as the acoustic cello and his music was the soundtrack for the IMAX production called 'Ride Around The World' about cowboys around the world, a couple of years ago. We saw it when we were in Austin and it was fabulous. Their Austin band is called 'Alpha Rev' and they really rock.Oh and here is a trailer to SD's company's latest movie. I am so excited about seeing it! It's called 'An Education'. You will absolutely love the trailer, I promise!
Also, I have a surprise blogger guest coming to visit next week and I'm so excited I can hardly stand it! More later....
