Our Best Friends Just Bought A New Home....

Yes, our (former) Galveston (best) friends just bought a new home here in Stepfordville, so tonight we had them over for dinner and then braved the cold to have a first viewing of their new abode. Of course, there are a few things they want to change & improve upon, although the place is almost *move-in ready* but for painting and a few other details......

It has beautiful lighting at night and also has a quite roomy one bedroom guest house (with partial kitchen) out beyond the pool, attached to the garage. The house features a large kitchen with an amazing pantry and breakfast area, a huge great room, 3 bedrooms,  and 3-1/2 baths and a bonus room they can use as an office. It is a wonderful place and I'm so excited for them I can hardly stand it! Hopefully, Mr. Snooty will at some point become inspired with their move & jump on board with our own eventual move. 

This place is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, which is always a desirable location. Besides, it's rather hidden away AND they already know their neighbors. What more could anyone possibly ask for?


It has since been repainted from the pale yellow to a taupe, which looks fabulous with the high vaulted ceilings. Oh - And there is also a greenhouse for wintering plants as well as RO water throughout the house (which is a huge deal in West Texas as the water here is horrid). In addition, there is also an area out by the pool that is already provided with a gas hookup so that they can add an outdoor kitchen, just like they currently have, which is AWESOME.....
