Sheryl Crow - "Detours"

Wow! Sheryl Crow's new album "Detours" is quite simply nothing short of amazing. Apparently, she has reunited with her producer from the 1990's, Bill Bottrell, who was at the controls for her 1993 album "Tuesday Night Music Club". After listening to this new disc, I'm convinced that this was a a positive reunion. The new album is amazing and offers a little something for everyone. It is definitely a more personal effort for Sheryl, as she offers songs about Katrina, Lance Armstrong & her newly adopted son, Wyatt. This is a strong album by a super strong woman who has survived breast cancer, among other things. In my opinion, Sheryl has almost created an entire genre of her own. None of the tunes on this album resemble anyone or anything else I can think of, making her more unique than ever. If you're a Sheryl Crow fan, don't be so stupid as to miss this clever new disc.
