Money Can't Buy My Love.... But It Doesn't Hurt To Try

My husband is so romantic. He always gives me a humorous card and fresh flowers, which he knows I adore...
So, I'd like to share some fun quotes about love with you.

Money can't buy my love... but it certainly doesn't hurt to try. --- Snooty Primadona

Shopping is better than sex. At least if you're not satisfied, you can exchange it for something you really like. --- Adrienne Gusoff

Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. That's relativity. --- Albert Einstein

You have to walk carefully in the beginning of love; the running across fields into your lover's arms can only come later when you're sure they won't laugh if you trip. --- Jonathan Carroll

If you want to sacrifice the admiration of many men for the criticism of one, go ahead, get married. --- Katherine Hepburn

All marriages are happy. It's trying to live together afterwards that causes all the problems. --- Shelley Winters

Love the card, and quotes. The move really sucks! Hubby is a pack rat. I think we will need to have one of those construction dumpsters delivered. We have 4 piles in the basement. Things to throw out, things to give to charity, things to sell to an antique dealer, and things that go. The larger pile goes. And we don't have to be out of here until March! At least we are doing this slow so the other house is getting put away as we move things. It's neat and tidy. This one looks like a bad storm blew in.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Love all the quotes - and the card is hilarious too - usually my hubby gives me those, but I got a serious card this year! :D

Hey Snoot! That was me that deleted, somehow I seriously messed it up! What I tried to say was thanks for the grins, I so love a humorous heart day. My hubby got me a funny card for the first time this year and I love that so much more than the serious ones. Warped probably, but I'm glad I'm warped! ;o)

I keep popping in to your cooking blog. Today I find it is a blank page... not complaining, just didn't know if you know. So popped over to this blog and had some good laughs instead.

The Ralph Waldo Emerson quote... it's much longer than that - but it is my all-time, #1 favorite quote in the world. :-)
