What I Haven't Been Blogging About....

I know I haven't been blogging. I decided that I needed to take an unannounced break while I'm getting some work done. Remember that huge pile of sterling silver? Yes, that one. I've been photographing and cataloging each piece (after polishing & washing & drying). I've been doing research on many of the pieces and I've been basically pulling out my hair. All work and no play makes Snooty a very cranky girl indeed!

I finally got the last of Christmas neatly packed away. This time I took pictures of everything and where it is so that next year I'll know where everything is. Yes, I found the missing box of ornaments too.... You don't want to know. All that took several days, but I did consolidate. Many of the retired ornaments are going into storage.

I feel as if I'm under a huge pile of debris and no one can hear me. This house is never going to let me go...

I re-read Robert Fulghum's two books All I Ever Need To Know I Learned In Kindergarten and Uh-Oh, just for a laugh. There were many. Hard laughs. I almost couldn't stop. If you want to feel good about life, read these two books again. If you haven't read them, get them immediately and read them. You can thank me later.

My hand finally healed from my Christmas mishap and the scab fell off while I slept Friday night. (Thank God I wasn't aware when it happened.) The scar looks like it's going to be gone in a few years.

Mr. Snoots continues to yell at his football games on the TV in the kitchen, alone in his pain or glory. I always yell for the wrong color team. Unless it's the Longhorns. Besides, I'm always busy doing something else at the same time, which makes it hard to pay attention to things like first and second downs. Gah!

It's been bitter cold for like 6 weeks now and I'm officially sick of it. I don't care that the Farmer's Almanac was right... again. I can't remember it being this cold for this long. Argh! If this keeps up, I'm going to weigh 150 pounds in no time. No exercise and no golf = fat cell development at a convention.

Now I have to get back to work. There are many miles to go before I sleep....

What beautiful silver treasures you have. I love those. Your hand is looking much better but still looks sore. To help the scar to minimize use some Mederma ointment on it. It works wonders.

I figured you were either away from blogging doing something really fun, or something really tedious that had to get done! I was hoping it was fun stuff!! Oh well. Your hand is looking so much better! We are having above normal temps, stay warm where you are!

Ouch, that hand! Glad it's on the mend.

I know what you mean about the cold and the eating. I mean, there's not anything else to do!

Yes, we really do want to know where the missing box of ornaments was. Especially if it was right in plain sight:)

Should I sign you up for that show "Clean House"? They come in and sell off half your "stuff" in a garage sale, tidy up and redecorate a few rooms, while you're away at some relaxing spa or hotel? Sound like heaven?
Just let me know and I'll put you on the list!
ow, glad you're healing from that wicked injury.

JUST 150 pounds? Talk to the hand, girl, me and my fat backside are walking away...

You need to come up with a good tale to go with that scar-- something pirate-y.

What the heck is going on??? You're like the 10th person I've either read or talked to that feels overwhelmed with the "stuff" in their lives. Purge purge purge is loud and clear. And I'm sayin' it the loudest!
