My New Spring And Summer Front Door Wreath...

I've been searching for a new front door wreath and had honestly finally given up. However, when I was scouring Tuesday Morning last week, I found what I was looking for. The only problem was that I had to incorporate two wreaths to achieve the look I wanted. Necessity being the mother-of-invention, I set to the task at hand and proceeded to make my two new wreaths into one glorious wreath.

When I got them home I was certain that I could hot glue them together, which turned out to be a pipe dream. I then rummaged through my jewelry making supplies until I found some plastic coated wire that I decided would do nicely.  Of course, I was right. I wrapped the wire around 3 different sections of the the two wreaths, which was just enough to secure them together adequately. In the few areas where the wire was exposed, I hot glued tiny shells and faux blueberries to hide said wire.

The total cost for my project was approximately $15.99 and it looks like a much more expensive wreath, doesn't it?

That is beautiful. You could sell a lot of those around these parts for a nice profit. You might have to add a crab or two. Heehe.

Nice reflection of you, too.

Hope you have been well out there in Texas. I retire from photography - at least from newspaper work - in two weeks. It will be nice to have some time to keep up with all my old blogging friends once again.

Have a good week.

Nicely done. I've never done a seasonal wreath thing, but I'm now quite tempted. You make it look so easy!

LOVE it! I need to get off the course and get my house in order. I'm trying, but the damn laundry keeps getting in the way.
