OMG! We've Got Baby Foxes Again!

When I started calculating the mating period of foxes and the gestation period, I suddenly realized that they (the babies) should come out to play this week, if they're still alive. Mr. Snoots said forget it, there weren't any this year. Still, Fifi and Rolando have really been hanging together in our yard. Be sure to click on the pictures for a larger pic. They are just too cute!

Lo and behold, when I ran up to the store for a quick item, the pups revealed themselves to Mr. Snoots, which is so NOT FAIR! However, he did get a couple of pretty good shots of them. There are only two pups, which makes sense. Fifi is only a year old.

Mr. Snooty said they are like a couple of wild Indians, which they always are. I'm hoping to be able to see them tonight, and I'll try to get a video. They're always so much fun to watch!

Several nights ago, I was able to get some good video of Fifi eating her dinner (a squirrel). She must have known I was there because I was listening to music on the patio and singing. It didn't seem to bother her in the least. There's nothing like a captive audience, I assure you.......

My parents had chipmunks in their backyard. The lived in the woodpile...and cute they were.

That is SO cool! I've only seen one fox (outside of a zoo) in my life.

I did, however, see a possum in the street at about 5:30 a.m. the other morning. :)

Thought about you the other day...as I was pulling out of my neighborhood, there was a mama red fox and her babies darting across the field!! I was too slow with the camera though...

So cute! Alas, in the suburbs, I rarely see anything as cool as baby foxes!

I'm so glad you haven't been abandoned by the foxes! Those pictures of the babies are soooo cute!

A tasty squirrel, dinner music, all that's missing is a glass of wine. I'm sure though, being the perfect hostess you are, you put down the camera and poured a glass.

I'm so glad there are baby foxes. I enjoy watching them with you.

Sorry I haven't been around much lately, but the ankles are healing, so it will get easier to hang out in this computer chair.
