Thankfully, when I was in California our daughter got me the most amazing ear plugs... EVER! I can turn the TV way up to blaring and once I have these little darlings plugged into my ears, I hear absolutely nothing. They are so awesome that they rock my world into the land of slumber! Forget about all the others that came before this. They are worthless. These are the only earplugs ever, that I have found to be so totally effective. You can buy them at CVS pharmacy.
On another note, my MD has decided that I need to be on high cholesterol medication because although my good cholesterol is very high, my bad cholesterol is really high too. It's 300, to be exact. Yes, I know I should be dead, but I'm not.... yet. He started me on a very low dose of Zolcor and I've never been so sick in my life. I lasted almost a week before I threw it in the trash. I cannot live my life the way I want to if I constantly feel like I'm going to vomit 24 hours per day. So, it's back to the drawing board. Let's hope the next one isn't quite so brutal.
My high cholesterol is genetically inherited which means there isn't much else I can do besides the meds. My father and his father (my grandfather) died from heart attacks before they were even 60 years old. I plan to live longer than that, thank you very much! So, I'll go through all the pains of trying to nail the right medication and dosage. For now anyway.
Oh and here are the pictures from Mother's Day. Mr. Snoots prepared dinner for me and brought me the loveliest bouquet of fresh flowers. What a guy!
